Philadelphia NBC10 is reporting that 12 firefighters have been injured battling a fire in a commercial structure in West Chester County. Reports from other news sources indicate that the fire was below grade. Early indications are that the firefighters were suffering from carbon monoxide poising. Here is what we know:
- Four firefighters were transported to the hospital. One report indicated that one of the four was in cardiac arrest.
- Eight firefighters are being treated at the scene by paramedics.
